Hi!
My name is Elizabeth Luciano and I am a TK teacher at EB Scripps! I began my teaching career in 2012, and am just as passionate about it today as I was the day I started. Of all the schools I’ve worked for, EBS stands out as being especially warm and academically enriching. My goal for each year is to create a learning environment that welcomes all students and sets them up for academic success for the rest of their educational careers.
I am originally from Tennessee and received my bachelor's degree in early childhood development from The University of Memphis. I completed my master's program in early childhood education from Arkansas State University in 2023. Throughout my teaching career I have taught Kindergarten, Pre-K, and 2nd grade classrooms. Although I have worked with learners from a range of developmental ages, the TK age group is my absolute favorite. TK is where students learn their most important foundational skills and where students first start developing a love of learning.
I moved to San Diego in 2020 with my husband, and since then have fallen in love with the city (especially living so close to the beach)! We have 2 beautiful children, a boy and a girl. When we have free time we love to spend our weekends hiking or at the beach.
