Kazarian, Christine--Grade 1

Dear Parents and Students of Room 306,

Welcome to the new school year and first grade at E.B. Scripps! My name is Mrs. Kazarian and I am absolutely thrilled to be on the first grade team here at EBS. I was born and raised in San Pedro, California. I moved to San Diego in 2002 and attended San Diego State University (GO AZTECS!), where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology as well as my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.

I started subbing for SDUSD in 2009 and worked at many schools throughout the district until I started teaching first grade at EBS Elementary in 2014. I changed grade levels the following year and taught second grade for quite a few years. I am happy to be back in first grade.  When I am not teaching, I am spending time with my family, reading, relaxing on the beach, practicing yoga or hiking.

I am looking forward to an interesting, fun, and challenging year filled with learning. I believe that each child has their own talents and abilities that will bring them success and will achieve academic excellence. Because you as parents are your child's first teachers, it is important for us to maintain open communication. If you have any questions or concerns at any time, please feel free to call, e-mail, or make an appointment. Working together, we can ensure a successful experience for your child this year.

If you have any additional suggestions on how we may work as a team to benefit your child, please don’t hesitate to let me know. You may email me at [email protected] or call my classroom voicemail (619) 605-2000 ext. 4306 with any questions or concerns.
Thank you in advance for your support. I know it’s going to be a great year!

Sincerely,
Mrs. Kazarian
