Hello EBS Families!

My name is Melanie Merritt, and I’m so happy to be part of the EBS community. I have been at this amazing school since 2022, and I truly love being here. My background is in early childhood education, and I earned my degree from SDSU.

I discovered my passion for working with children back in high school, which led me to spend eight wonderful years at San Carlos Preschool before earning my elementary teaching credential.

When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time in nature and being with my loved ones. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions—I’m always happy to connect.
